The Dog Training Toolkit is a workshop for dogs and people.
This introduction workshop provides an interactive learning experience for both new students and students already enrolled. Rather than all participants working simultaneously, you will focus on stationing your dog during demonstrations and then come out to practice specific skills as instructed. This approach ensures that each team gets individual attention and guidance. It also demonstrates how to teach dogs to settle between exercises, an important skill for group classes and any public setting with your dog.
Dogs attending the workshop should be friendly and comfortable around other dogs and people. If your dog tends to excessively bark during group settings, please contact us to explore alternative options. Auditing without your dog is also available if you prefer to learn in a different capacity.
Whether you’re training for competition or enhancing your dog’s everyday behavior, this session will equip you with valuable skills.
How to Sign Up
The Dog Training Toolkit is free to attend. Workshops are offered periodically. Please complete enrollment documents and provide your dog’s vaccine records if you are new to MJ’s Pet Training Academy before the workshop.
